Registration name badges

Prior to the show, IMEX will email you instructions on how to print your own badge. It is the responsibility of each stand partner to print their own badge on a colour printer and bring it to the show where you will be given a badge holder and lanyard to access the show floor. Please note that name badges must always be worn during the event.

Booth set-up

If you plan to visit the Australia stand during setup on Monday, 12 October, please do so between 2pm and 4pm. We will endeavour to complete the booth set up on time, however it is possible it may be delayed. Please contact Kelly Maynard on the day for further information.

The Australia stand is at capacity for IMEX America 2026. There will be no breakout areas, so all partners will need to conduct meetings at their booth, and all stand partners must be pre-registered to be based on the stand.

There is limited storage available on the Australia stand. Stand partners should limit collateral or personal items to a minimum, this and your bag should fit into the booth cupboard. Also consider a sustainable approach. Buyers will not want to carry around brochures or large gift items.

To maintain a consistent look across the stand please do not bring any additional theming for decoration or branding items for your booth, as this is not permitted.

Stand partner uniform

A reminder that it is compulsory to wear your Tourism Australia uniform on the stand each day.

• Gentlemen: You will be provided with a coloured pocket square to wear with your own white dress business shirt, black suit and black shoes.
• Ladies: You will be provided with an indigenous scarf to wear with your own all black clothing, with black/neutral shoes. No patterns or other colours please.

You will receive the scarf and pocket square on arrival at the stand. Please ensure you return the uniform item to BEA at the end of the show. We ask for your cooperation and note, no additional elements are to be added to the uniform – it is important we represent a united team Australia.

Stand partner briefing and group photo

IMEX is encouraging all exhibitors to arrive early on day one of the show. Please be ready on the stand for the briefing on Tuesday, 13 October at 9am. Any final event details will be provided at this time. A group stand photograph will be taken immediately after the briefing at 9.15am so please be ready in your uniform.

IMEX appointments

Pre-scheduled appointments are buyer driven and you have access to your appointment schedule in the IMEX portal. Once an appointment has been made, exhibitors and buyers can send messages to each other via the IMEX online messaging service. Please monitor your diary and utilise the marketing opportunities via the portal to contact buyers to drive appointments and leverage your own networks. Appointment timeslots are 30 minutes and diaries are open for the duration of the exhibition.

Destination presentations

Tourism Australia will be delivering a series of presentations on the stand during IMEX. Please refer to the program below for timings. Buyers attending this session will have pre-selected to attend the Australia presentation or will be part of a hosted buyer group. This ensures the buyers attending the presentation are actively interested in Australia as a destination.

The current group/destination presentation schedule is:

Tuesday, 13 October – 11.00am, 11.30am, 1.30pm and 2.30pm

Wednesday, 14 October – 10.30am, 11.00am, 11.30am and 1.30pm

Thursday, 15 October – 10.30am, 11.00am, 11.30am and 1.00pm

Additional destination presentations may be scheduled closer to the show time, and we will provide an update during the stand partner briefing in Las Vegas.
